So far I think I'd be better off buying from Ace's open stock. At least I have a good assortment now. The thread broke in half of the used ones. The same dimensions and pitches are used. ?

Soft. Completely unreliable. The first two clicked in my frame. The rest broke while driving, ruining the fairing. A $1,000 disguise ruined a $20 purchase. It shouldn't be allowed to sell, period.

Very soft bolt. It broke before tightening. That caused me big problems. Now a bolt is stuck and I can't get out. I don't usually write reviews. This product is so bad that it can no longer be sold!

This kit completely changed the look of my 2003 R1150RT: no more worn out bolts making it look like a 19 year old bike (which it is). Now I get questions as to what year it is because it looks like the plastic was never removed for service.

Pretty sure they're plasticine. They are easy to remove, the heads come off, and if you try to unscrew them with pliers, the screws will eat through. I'm not sure how they passed any of the testing steps, so I'm pretty sure they didn't test them properly. Just buy bike gear kits or individual screws/bolts at your local hardware store.

Do not buy these screws. They are made of very cheap aluminum and will break at the slightest torque. I bought these to replace a couple of vibrating fairing screws, so I used some blue (non-permanent) Locktite to keep them from dangling again. When I tried to take them off, the heads broke off. I've had three done so far. I was able to remove them with a simple one of ours, but won't be using them again. If you really need black screws, choose steel screws. I know they cost a lot more but they
