I installed an 18" acrylic wing mirror. The image is clear at the distance we need, about 15 to 20 feet. The mirror is easy to install if you have one existing pole or outer wall (and the correct screws - see below) It pivots (unscrew the 3 screws on the base) so you can easily adjust it to the angle you want Our garage door opening is narrow and requires a curve in front of it Retract - the mirror has improved our lines of sight and made this maneuver easier.The reason for 4 stars instead of 5

If you're willing to shell out about $200 for a mirror that will literally fall apart in a year, go for it! I personally think that's too much money for an inferior mirror. I contacted SeeAll about the poor quality and here is the answer: This is a wing mirror with a black ABS plastic backing. It has a vinyl coated aluminum edge.
