Ideal workstation card - supports three 4K displays at 60Hz

Ships in a sealed manufacturer's NVidia Quadro box with full-height and low-profile brackets and three mini-DP to DP adapters per box . Installed and everything worked. Not intended for gaming, but ideal for managing multiple high-resolution workstation monitors. Why pay more for a playing card if you are not a player?

Very easy to install and has no display or color issues

This is a great product. I had no problems installing it on my Dell Optiplex 7010 with 3.4GHz Intel Core i5-3570 processor and 16GB Windows 7 (64bit) memory. I am following the instructions by uninstalling the graphics driver before installing a new graphics card. Then installed the CD driver and restarted the computer. And it worked with no display or color issues. The Nvidia Control Panel is very easy to use and allows you to customize your monitors if needed.

Linux driver installation is unconventional

Installed this CAD board on Ubuntu 18LTS. The UBUNTU drivers for the board don't work properly, so you'll need to use the Nvidia drivers. The Nvidia installer script leaves a lot to be desired. It works, but it's not obvious. Also, the /etc/default/grub file is not updated. So if you change them, the driver disappears and you're left with 640x480. Reinstalling the driver fixes the problem, but Nvidia should update the system files so the grub change doesn't delete their driver.

  • Great for outdoor activities

Huge improvement in video encoding speed

I bought it for one reason only: hardware video encoding. A pain in the southernmost region to work out the ffmpeg commands to complete the task, but once that was done there was a huge speed improvement. FYI:=============# Create a "HWtranscode" function function HWtranscode() { for f in *.ts; # nividia hardware transcoding do ffmpeg -hwaccel cuvid -i "$f" -vcodec h264_nvenc -profile:v 2 -g 30 -qp 26 -c:a ac3 "${f%.ts}.mp4 "; done}============= As far as using it as a graphics card, it seems…

Works with Ubuntu 20.04 and Nvida driver 440.64

I bought this card (VCQP400-PB) to replace a dead AMD V7900. I'm using it on a Dell T5500 workstation with 3 monitors, two in landscape and one in portrait. All three monitors are connected with DisplayPort cables. The card is small so I had to use the larger bracket that came with it to mount it. The map is small in length and height. The card has low power consumption and does not require an additional 6/8-pin power cable. The card supports 3 monitors at the same time. In addition, three…
