Perfect OEM Part: Parts

We had no idea our Polaris had an aftermarket faucet valve so we ordered the exact same thing and it was leaking so I searched again and found this OEM replacement part and it works great Perfect, thanks a lot, back on the road

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Something else

Perfect fit identical to what it replaced

Perfect OEM replacement. Don't waste your time and money on cheaper valves, I've found there simply isn't a viable aftermarket and this was the best price for an identical valve removed from my impeller.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Unfashionable

Works as it should.

This valve did exactly what it was supposed to do. My only complaint is that the new valve barely turned, but that changed after use. This change worries me as I'm curious if the valve is already worn out? For now, however, it doesn't appear to be leaking. If it lasts as long as the factory valve, then everything is fine.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Negative gift

SEALING YOUR FUEL TANK with chewing gum lasts longer. And it costs less.

My original fuel tap on my Scrambler lasted 16 years. I replaced it with an OEM Polaris in March 2017 (now March 2021). Why spend so much on a factory? Because replacing that valve is a headache and I was hoping never to do it again on a 16 year old quad. (purchased new summer 2001). Wow, I was wrong. This replacement leaks heavily in the ON (but not OFF or RESERVED) position. I can ride RESERVE but it's not ideal, it's a good way to get stuck on an empty tank. I see another reviewer wrote that

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Quality
