Exactly what I was looking for!

It's hard to find ironing board covers that aren't "double thick". I tried these - it's like trying to iron a pillow! It has the right amount of padding. I also like that the padding is felt instead of foam. I just received it so I can't comment on durability. But I really hope it lasts a long time.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • -

I have had other Polder hanger covers before. It's cotton and lacks the cover that used to make ironing easier. There is no "elastic band" under the ironing board itself that would hold both sides together when ironing. The product constantly rises above the plate itself and needs to be adjusted. The actual problem.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Modern

Ha! NOT "Double Thick Fiber Pad "

This is by no means a replacement polar board cover that I bought from the BBB offline store. The board came in about an inch thick, fully padded and with a perfect fit. This one, maybe 1/4 thick or less, has no padding. It is so thin that the pattern of the perforated holes of the steel ironing board is imprinted on my clothes as I iron it. A complete waste of money.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Not bad

Disappointed but holding on

Disappointed but holding on. When it arrived it smelled strong. After washing on gentle cycle and air drying, it shrank a bit and became even more difficult to apply to the board. After washing, the smell was less. Some of the lining (cotton) came off when washed and was a bit lumpy. I was able to smooth it out and get it to work. Too small for my board, but it's enough. After all that I don't think it's worth it.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Hard to say

Seems to do well in ironing board covers

Only used a couple of times, seems to work well and seems like a durable material. It was difficult to get onto the ironing board (user error), measure correctly, it doesn't stretch (like I assumed). It is not known how well it will hold up over the long term. Added in August 2014, after using this board cover for several months, the iron left a brown stain on the cover after normal use. I called the company and they were happy to replace it, the replacement is a darker color and is holding up…

Pros
  • Durable test results
Cons
  • Some bugs

Really regret buying this ironing board and then this cover

I bought a Bed Bath Beyond ironing board from this company. It's a great board but I've searched and searched and bought and bought replacement ironing board covers that didn't work. Even on the company's own website, there is no ironing board cover that fits the needs of the actual ironing board, which is 48 inches long and 15 inches wide. The sleeves are too long and the quality is nowhere near the quality of the original board sleeve that came with the board when I bought it. It's taking me…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Hard to tell
