Requires smaller heat shrink tubing

Generally satisfactory product but red heat shrink tubing is initially too large and does not shrink enough for most wires in intended area.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Very good value for money

Best value for money connector I've found but make sure you use the correct crimping tool. I would suggest a ratchet model specifically for shrink connectors.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Minor issues

Great for all needs

Good alternative to spot soldering. I use them for marine/boat wiring for vehicles that may be exposed to more moisture than, say, an indoor stereo. Crimp and heat to shrink and you're done.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Something different

NOT HEAT SHRINK AS SPECIFIED

I have a good ACCO crimping tool but there isn't enough metal available to crimp for a secure fit. In addition, there is absolutely no heat shrinkage. I went as far as putting the plug directly into the flame of a butane lighter to make sure it didn't shrink again. George Costanza would be so proud.

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • Not automatic

Excellent product on terminals

Read instructions. Urgh, I know, just do it. Make sure you twist the wires and then place a ball on top. If the psychiatrist clears it up, you can go. I used a heat gun and it worked great. I actually prefer them for shrinking and soldering.

Pros
  • Excellent wire contact
Cons
  • Obsolete

people suck ass

terminals are fine. The latch on the box was broken and not in the package so the terminals flew everywhere as soon as I pulled them out. Cheap product so it's not a big deal but annoying that it was clearly broken before packing and they sent it anyway. lame. It's not worth sending back, there's still a box.

Pros
  • quality assurance
Cons
  • little things

Great kit for an old Honda CB550.

I also repaired and added quite a bit to my 77" HONDA CB550k. They seem too suitable for OEM terminals. And come with 3x wire size. I don't know how weatherproof they are, but I have them used in the headlight and under the tank, so it's not right there in bad weather. But I like heat shrinking, but it's also quite difficult, try to remove the cap, solder and put it back on. I just used the back of the Pliers used too hard. Their heat is slowing down so don't burn them. And it's pretty good…

Pros
  • Durability
Cons
  • old
