This item is beautiful but unfortunately the locket is much smaller than expected due to the misleading picture. If you look at the photo with the measurements you can see that they have been very clever in placing the item about 1/4 inch above the zero mark. So if you look at the top the pendant looks almost 1 inch BUT it's not, the locket is very small and I even bought a bigger one not sure how small the small one is but it was very disappointing small medallion, send it back!

This was the biggest disappointment I have ever had when buying anything from Revain. This product will begin to blacken and fade within a week of purchase. It was very embarrassing because I bought it as a gift for my girlfriend's birthday. She loves rose gold and has trouble finding a rose gold locket. I just didn't buy it. I'm not at all sure if it's real gold. It's almost impossible for it to be real and react so quickly.
