Not Worth the Price Tag

This audio device looked impressive, but the sound quality was lacking. The sleek design couldn't make up for the weak bass and mediocre volume output. The device's battery life was also disappointing for its price point. As a fan of electronics, I expected more from Bang & Olufsen in this model.

Pros
  • Excellent sound quality for a portable speaker, sleek and durable design, long battery life
Cons
  • High price point makes it less accessible for budget-conscious consumers

This is B&O. The sound is warm and pleasant. Yes, this is not a stereo pair, it is not a full-fledged acoustics for listening in a chair, but it is very good for its size, for transferring from one room to another. And if you make a stereo pair, then they generally write that "fire". I also have a Beosound P6 which is bulkier. In comparison, the A1 sounds cleaner, but with less bass intensity. P6 has powerful bass and I even have a lot of it for 20 mΒ², it is significantly louder than A1 at…

Pros
  • Detailed sound. Nice bass. Convenient connection. Holds a charge well.
Cons
  • Sometimes, if you turn the middle bass to max in the settings, it starts to wheeze. It probably hasn't warmed up yet.

The quality is at the level, I am satisfied with everything.

In general, there are no problems of the first generation with cracking of the case and short operating time. The top cover is removed by turning counterclockwise.

Pros
  • Very decent sound (clear without sacrificing low frequencies), works for a long time.
Cons
  • Because of the strong bass, it can tremble and cause everything that is on the surface where it lies to rattle. It can fly off the table from its vibration.

Perfect product for any user!

The desire to keep the BEOSOUND A1 2ND GEN was strengthened after a direct comparison with Marshall Emberton. I will not scold Marshall, since Bang & Olufsen does not pay me for this), I will only say that BEOSOUND sounds more natural in the entire spectrum of sound.

Pros
  • Clear transparent sound, the ability to adjust the sound with an equalizer, quality materials, light weight, 360 g. sound direction.
Cons
  • At first, the sound of the column seemed a little thin.
