Only 6 tiny heating pads included. If you wear it like a scarf, 2 right on your back will get too hot, but you won't feel the others. There are a few temps you can keep it at, but that seems to be changing on its own. I set it to high and later notice that it changed to medium and then low. Good idea, bad execution.

Although it only runs on 5V, this little scarf is good for cold winter days when she is reading a book or watching TV. Doesn't get hot, uncomfortable. But it gets pretty warm and just the right amount of warmth in my opinion. Use your computer or a 5V USB port. If using an external battery, make sure it is fully charged. This little scarf is really pretty and I can't wait to use it this winter.

Of all the electric blankets, this one had the prettiest pattern. It's good enough for one person and soft enough. I think it's a versatile option where I can wear it outside like a scarf/poncho without looking like a tramp. It doesn't come with a battery, but I already had a few at home and they worked great. Can't wait to try it outdoors next winter. Hopefully it's not static like other fleece textures.
