Uses the micro USB connector - not compatible with Apple products or phones using the newer USB-C shape socket. Uses 20AWG copper cable for lower resistance and faster charging than a budget micro USB cable. Prevents your device going into 'data transfer' mode when connected to a computer, prevents data theft / viruses when charging from an unknown USB socket and lets you use a computer just like a mains charger. Hardwired with the Fast Charge USB signal - If you have purchased a mains or car USB charger but find that it charges your device slower or not at all, this will most likely solve the problem. Charge-only cables are NOT compatible with Qualcomm Quick Charge or other extra fast charging standards since these require data transfer.

and the structure of the whole cable looks very good. As a couple I had no problems.

These cables are very high quality. The plugs on both ends fit well into outlets, the cord is thicker and stronger than others I've seen (and owned), and the construction throughout the cord looks really good. I've had no issues with the two I bought and yes, my devices charge faster than other cables. I use cables to charge my phone by connecting it to my computer. I needed charge-only cables because we are not allowed to connect non-company data devices to our computers at work. With aโ€ฆ

Great product for its purpose

I am puzzled as to why so many people are confused by this product and why only one seller is selling it given its usefulness. Simple Facts: * The difference between the "high speed charger" that comes with today's powerful phones or tablets and simply plugging it into a USB hub is that the power bank can deliver more current than the USB standard requires, and the USB connection is configured appropriately so that the device can determine that the connection is for charging only (and therefore

Very handy - turns a regular USB car adapter into a dedicated charging port

Why even the cheapest USB car adapters don't have an internal data line short circuit, making these portable power cables an all-rounder but the unnecessary is beyond me understanding, but they don't.
