If you have a Blackmagic camera then this is a must have

The first one came with hot pixels, sent it back, received another one and couldn't be happier. This is required if you have a BMPCC as it can control the camera wirelessly via bluetooth.

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Angry

Amazing monitor, best in lighting and studio

A bit pricey. And it doesn't have a sun canopy, although you don't need it, it's so bright. A bit strange at first, but easy once you get the hang of it. Only returned it because for the price I wish it had a few more buttons and came for 7.

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • No mold required

Great monitor for Blackmagic cameras

love this screen for my pocket 6k. We'll see how long that lasts, but the wireless camera control works great. Focus peaking is a little too strong out of the box, but it's adjustable and works great. I haven't tested it in the sun yet, but the screen was very bright, I'm sure it will work fine.

Great alternative to BM5

Good basic control over my BMPCC6K. Some features like mapped buttons (false color, peak highlighting, loudness) are not accessible, but the monitor itself does a lot of it in the device itself. Plus it's the perfect complement to my 6Ks! Super bright and touch sensitivity is excellent. Management works amazingly well. It turned off once for me, but a quick reset fixed everything.

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • Legacy model

More than worthy for the price

Great monitor but outdated very quickly for me. But most of the time it's my fault. This got me covered for about a month, but then I updated some other parts of my setup and it fell behind. It's still an amazing monitor with more features than many other popular monitors. If you work primarily with consumer video and are less film oriented, that would be great. But as someone who works in the film industry, the BM5 line is much better suited to my needs. The main reason is that it has SDIโ€ฆ

Doesn't work with Canon 80D

I bought the LH5P because the description said it was compatible with the Canon 80D but I couldn't get it to work with it, didn't even show the image from my camera (via HTML cable), not to mention controlling the camera via the control cable. I carefully read the entire user manual, but there were no instructions on how to use it with Canon cameras. I asked the seller for help several times but was told to just use an HDMI cable which I already did but it didn't work. My other questions wereโ€ฆ
