I have used many different RJ-45 connectors in my time (network engineer) and I can honestly recommend these say are one of the best for the price. I don't particularly like the ones where the wires run through the front and have to be cut off after crimping. These connectors raise every other wire, making it more visible and serving a purpose too. The main complaint is that they don't come with a charging rod, which requires extra time and care to get good results. and all contacts work fine, no problems that some other people claim. With UTP Cat6 AWG23, the shell hardly fits into the connector, so you can easily install S/UTP. But I think SFTP is out of the question. Price aside (a bit higher (maybe $1 per pack) I used 6 of these as soon as I received the connectors. All six (6) RJ45 connectors were 100% successful to ensure solid connections /Pins obtained with wires (each pin easily pierces the insulation of the wires), as well as ground wires pressed tightly against the ground sheath, ethernet wire is so thin (as with sensors), etc. crimping tool rj45, but I've only swapped the connector in the past twice, the last time 4-5 years ago.
