While the stone is nice and well packaged, the shorter black cord smelled like it had been buried in someone's basement for the last 30 years. Despite numerous washings and soaking, the smell is too strong for me so unfortunately I had to carry this beautiful stone with a string. Regardless, this is still one of the best necklaces I've invested in recently, very pretty.

Nice size and design but not worth the money as my amethyst was so matte and very opaque and the rose gold tone metal chain made my neck look green and all that color washed off quickly. Now it's an ugly greenish-copper color. I've had it for less than a month and I've never swum in it. The black leather strap is good though.

I was pleasantly surprised when I received this pendant which, out of curiosity, I ordered to include as a possible gift for my daughter's birthday. The purple stone was not as bright as the picture and I would have preferred silver wire to copper but it is beautiful and well made. The leather strap is very beautiful. I would like to order additional cords like the ones that come with the pendant but I couldn't find any. In general, unusual everyday jewelry.
