I've read some reviews claiming that it will fit the HP Envy 4500 but that's not true. A proper connector might fit, but the base of the cable is too big for it.

I recently moved my printer and couldn't find the power cord. Until I saw this request for a review of the cable, I completely forgot that this cable is not original. They are both identical! I had no problems with this cable.

fits my HP Envy 7640 perfectly. I was in dire need of a power cord and this product delivered. Delivered quickly, served its purpose and appears to be as strong and durable as the original that was lost when moving, not broken or defective.

Luckily I did the logical thing and got a spare cable. It works well and provides the necessary power for my printer. The length is also very reasonable. If you're missing a power cord or want to replace a broken one, this is great.
