Pros - Quality packaging - Attractive red color (red not pink) - Good reception, speakers - Good thickness - Overall good design - Bought on sale for $12 (including shipping). So good value for money. Cons - cheap plastic, radio feels light. If you need an analog pocket radio for around $20, go for the Sangean SR35. This is a quality radio with an amazing speaker. You will not regret it. I recommend Sangean SR35 over Sony ICFP26 for speakers only. I have attached a photo.

I wanted an inexpensive, lightweight AM/FM two-way radio. This radio is great! As a bonus, it *looks* included with AFC (Auto Frequency Control/Auto Fine Tuning). I didn't find this in the documentation, but the behavior is similar to AFC. The main issue for me was the clarity and the transmitter is there when I turn it on. I listen to the radio every morning and it's frustrating when there's no station and I have to fine-tune it every time. This little radio is top notch! Well it's not Sony in terms of external speaker sound quality OR reception, but it costs less and has some positive qualities. Lighter than the Sony and the silver color makes it easier to find in my visually impaired friend's backpack. The black model has a contrasting white print for the controls, which is noticeably easier to see than the Sony black and white print.
