Pretty straight pistol grip, screw is not broken. Smells a little chemical at first, but that goes away. At the time of writing this review, I've had it for about three months. i'm pretty strong

I was hoping it would help me record more stable videos on the go. Very inconvenient to use with my small JVC VCR. You must use both hands. I took it off and let the kids play. Save money if you don't have a camera that can be set up with one hand.

This pen does what it's supposed to and stabilizes your camera for stable video or pictures. it works a lot better than just using your hand and trying to be still. It's almost like being on a tripod. Good for any photographer who can't be seen to take shaky shots. Costs money.

Bought this item to use with my Mamiya RB67 rangefinder camera. For those who don't know, this is a pretty beefy camera. The quality was decent enough until the second time I used it, the plate came off the handle. It turns out that it uses 4 6mm screws to hold it in place, which is definitely not enough. Grade 1 for such cool materials.

Great product! I've had this camera grip for about a week now, I've tried it on several different cameras I have and it's just amazing. The grip is also ideal for a person with a small hand (like mine). It is easy to install and remove the camera. I love this sturdy little thing and have convinced a friend to get one too. Ideal for video recording as you can hold the camera with just one hand without shaking or tiring your hand! Love it!

Reviews were great so I gave it a try but this product is nothing more than a toy. The grip itself is well designed and feels pretty solid, but the red plastic grip can't be tightened enough to securely hold the DSLR. Attempting to tighten it only gnaws at the flimsy rubber seal, which then comes loose completely because it's barely bonded to the plastic. I have been using an almost identical product from another brand for many years and would like to replace it. I thought it would be practically the same with a different logo on it, but I was wrong. There are a few small but important differences that made me want to bring it back right away. Once it's inserted into your camera, it's locked! This pen feels wonderfully sticky. I like that the bodice is wide. I use this with my new Fuji X-T3.
