Best Copal Incense: Home Fragrance

Smells wonderful and burns very slowly. Lasts a long time! I bought this pack of 20 as well as a pack of 40. Absolutely to suggest.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Can Hurt

Not real copal - about 90% something else

This isn't really copal. It's not the harsh and sweet smell that only pure copal can have. It's a tiny piece of copal mixed with something else. 40 sticks! I probably won't use them again because I don't know what I'm burning.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Fraud?: Incense sticks and incense stick holder

I have previously purchased a box of thinner copals from the same seller. The aroma was wonderful. After they were all gone I searched for the exact same sticks and couldn't find them, but the same seller offers thicker, longer sticks that: 1) don't fit in the box or the box itself. 2) The smell is different. The taste of thicker long sticks is smokier and not sweet. So I feel cheated.

Pros
  • Everything ok!
Cons
  • Expensive

Authentic Copal Incense

On a recent visit to Yucatan, Mexico, I was fortunate enough to attend a Mayan ceremony using copal incense. I liked the aroma and smoke and was able to buy incense sticks there. Looking for more home. This is the same brand I bought in Mexico. Copal is a tree resin and the scent is a blend of wood smoke and a spicy note. Not sweet and not like perfume. I use the sticks daily for meditation and am very happy with the brand.

Pros
  • Regular Price
Cons
  • Not Bad
