Optimal Performance Cut Resistant Gloves for Premium Protection Review

The recipient liked these gloves! I will put a couple on my birthday list! Not only are they well made, offer excellent hand protection and are thin enough to easily fillet fish, they don't even need to be removed to photograph your prey!

Who really needs a mandolin protection? Apparently it's a girl. Once I cut off my thumb and the next day I ordered these gloves. They are great for accidental cuts. If you try to cut them through you will, they are more for protection from grazing. They are comfortable and easy to clean. I believe they are indispensable in every kitchen.

Of course I learned how to plane so the problem with the gloves is partly my own. The knife I was using in my right hand slipped and the blade fell into my gloved left hand. The knife pierced the glove and tore the skin of one finger. In defense of these gloves, I can say that they prevented a deep cut in my finger, but I didn't expect the glove to cut so easily. The glide of the knife wasn't as strong and the knife wasn't sharpened to razor sharpness. So be careful when using them.
