Great durable case for my iPad Air 2020. Soft PU leather provides good grip and drop protection for my iPad. The soft leather case absorbs shocks much better than the hard cases which offer no better protection than a hard ground. Easy to apply but makes fingerprint ID more difficult to use if you have large fingers. I only use Padcode.

The case holds my new 4th gen iPad Air well except the 1/4 inch wide strips are too close to the volume buttons making it difficult to use. " Velcro with no second Velcro on the back to keep the cover in place better. Instead, it's loose and uncomfortable. Overall, it feels solid and I like the top liner for holding paper or cards. I have no Apple Pencil yet, so we'll see later.

Looks good and fits the iPad Air 4, but some controls are hard for fingers to reach. First, the volume control sits between two tabs on the lid that are too high and too close together to be easily accessible. Worse, the iPad4's lack of a home button is replaced with a swipe from the bottom of the screen. But even this is tricky as the bottom of the lid is too high and gets in the way.

For a long time I couldn't decide on a case for my new Apple Air. Most cases included storage space for the Apple Pencil. This made the body bigger. I wanted something without a pen holder and chose this case. As an added bonus, it also included a strap to use with my headphone amp, as well as a small front pocket that I use for a microfiber cleaning cloth.
