I bought these gloves for loading firewood into our crate because they had nice long sleeves. For this purpose they are good, not great. The palm of the gloves is not very durable. Because of this, fingertips wear out in less than a winter. Otherwise, they really protect your hands from burns.

If you need forearm protection these gloves are a great choice. I find them very comfortable. I originally bought them for welding but have since switched to shorter gloves. These are now my favorite log hauling gloves. I can stack an armful of firewood in my hands without getting scratched, pinched, or otherwise uncomfortable. :)
