The kids love it, but they're not yesterday's sink rings. The plastic is a softer, lower quality material (which might be fine if a flying fish hits you on the head), but I don't expect them to last many seasons. The quality is reminiscent of what you would find in a dollar store.

Helps against boredom in the pool. I throw them all and my kids compete to collect them to get points. I love that there are so many toys in this collection and most of them throw well. Bonus tip: To add a bit more excitement, I bought cheap big gems from Walmart and glued them onto pennies (the ones that score the most points).

Great deal but toy markers wear out very quickly. When I opened the packaging, the black ink came off some of the toys and stained my hands. As my kids played with it, even more ink/paint/paint came off. Our pool now has an ink ring around the waterline. As for buying again, I would, but I would soak them in a bucket or something I don't care to get the ink off first.

It was a great purchase. My toddler loves throwing rocks over our pool fence and into the pool. I bought them to give him something that won't ruin our tiles and at the same time let him throw something in the water. They work well for their intended purpose for the older kids who participate. One star off because squid are easily broken. Almost all broke within the first week of play. But everything else is much better. There's nothing "wrong" with these toys and they're definitely cute. However, be aware that they may not work as you expect. For example, I assumed they would all drown, but squid usually don't. The rings also tend to get air stuck in them and take a long time to come off the surface. Conversely, I assumed that the fish and especially the diving sticks would stand upright on the bottom of the pool. They don't; they lie flat, making them harder to see and grasp. My granddaughter is loving playing with them in the paddling pool this year. I hope she enjoys them in the big pool for years to come as she learns to swim and dives down to put them in the water over her head. I love that most of this set isn't overly complicated and dangerous when thrown around other people or randomly where other people are hanging out in or around the pool.
