Terrible screws, better look elsewhere

Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I’ve never seen such bad quality screws. They can't hold the weight and strip easily, leaving holes in the surface.

Pros
  • None.
Cons
  • Poor quality, easily stripped.

Good cheap fasteners

I bought half the lot (50) from Home Depot for a higher price than all 100 here and both are good for the job, I haven't noticed any difference between them. If you are looking for good bulk retarding bolts I would recommend this to you.

Pros
  • Heavy duty hex head wood screw
Cons
  • Some bugs

Not the best quality

I ordered more than I needed, good thing I unscrewed half of it. I've been a maintenance technician most of my life, so I've used a lot of gear. I pre-drilled the holes and soaped the threads, if you don't torque them that might be fine, but that's not why you're using lag screws. I do not recommend.

Pros
  • Size: 1/4" X 4-1/2"
Cons
  • Very expensive
