This brand isn't as good as some others I've bought because the material isn't as tight as spandex. Come on, they have bags and they were on sale.

I like to wear them when kayaking and they work well when I'm kayaking. But when it's wet and out of the water, the elastic on the waistband stretches a bit and I can feel it falling off a bit when I try to get back on the kayak.

Bought for the beach. Pros: Excellent coverage, UV protection, and side shell pockets! Cons: The waistband goes up, but the seam connecting the waistband to the bottom of the suit is tight and doesn't stretch, so you have to wear it low on your hips or you'll get wedges or worse.

I love these bottoms! I use them for swimming laps and on the beach, so they are very suitable for leisure and sports. The quality is there - it's like thick swimsuit material and they still look brand new even after a few months of heavy use. They fit great and I've never had a problem with them falling off or moving in the water. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for something more modest to cover their feet while swimming.

Really useful side pockets are now standard on leggings but still rare on women's shorts/swimwear. They're on both sides, and that's a great thing. I wear them down with panties, which suit me much better than Capri or Bermuda shorts. If it weren't swimsuits (i.e. sparkly) I'd pick up a few more pairs for versatile summer wear. I figured; it probably wasn't necessary, but they stay up anyway.

Quality materials. Not too thick and not too thin. Nice and soft, not scratchy. Breathing. I have 4 Private Island tops, short and 3/4 sleeves, and a pair of matching shorts and leggings. I love wearing these kits on the river, snorkeling or kayaking. It looks very bright and helps not to burn. I also like that they don't ride up or stretch like other brands when they get wet. I love that they are large sizes, thanks for that! I will always go to Private Island when I need rashguards/swimwear!
