I like wearing them kayaking and they work well when I'm in the kayak. But when it's wet and out of the water, the elastic on the waistband stretches a bit and I can feel it falling off a bit when I try to get back on the kayak.

Bought for the beach. Pros: Excellent coverage, UV protection, and side shell pockets! Cons: The waistband does lift, but the seam that connects the waistband to the bottom of the suit is tight and doesn't stretch, so you have to wear it low on your hips or you'll get wedges or worse.

Contradicts the assessment. The material is amazing but I didn't like how it hugs my waist. I have a pear shaped figure so it sits well on the hips but a bit baggy on the waist. I had to keep pulling them up. The Waste District seems to have little control as it is very lost. Where as part of the leg you have compression and fit. But the style is great and would buy again.

I was skeptical to buy this swimsuit. I am a tall woman and am switching from 3X to 2X as I have recently lost weight. I ordered XXXL and they fit well in a lot of space. In fact, if I'm going to lose any more weight, I'll need XXL shorts. These shorts are perfect for a day at the beach. I also ordered a matching tank.
