Description of Glow-in-the-Dark Pro Tapes: Pro GLOW LLGRN0510 for Enhanced Visibility and Safety

Pro Tapes Pro-Glow Glow in the Dark Tape is a phosphorescent vinyl film tape which glows in total darkness after exposure to artificial or natural light. The photoluminescent light source is designed to absorb energy from any nearby ambient light such as fluorescent lamps or sunlight. Once the source of extraneous light is removed Pro-Glow emits a light source of its own which is visible to the night-adjusted eye. When fully charged Pro-Glow provides luminance for up to 10 hours. There isn't a limit to the number of times this product can be recharged (also remains highly effective for use for up to 6 years). It will glow brightest for the first 15 to 30 minutes after charging has ceased, but will remain visible in a totally dark room to the night-adjusted eye; however, it would not compare its brightness to say a standard flashlight. Recommended for interior applications only. Pro Glow is used to spike stages for the placement of scenery and to mark exits, light switches and panels in dark areas. The tape's flexible backing is conformable and easy to cut. Type of Adhesive: solvent-based acrylic; Type of Backing: phosphorescent vinyl film; Type of Liner: poly coated 75-pound yellow paper; Core: 3-inch diameter core; Thickness: 10 mils (without the liner); Adhesions to Stainless Steel: 64 ounces per inch; Application Temperature Min-Max: 50F-100F; Operating Temperature Min-Max: -20F-200F.

Makes a great gift for a film crew.

This strap was perfect for the crew to be able to position some of our stage elements in complete darkness. It stayed loaded throughout the scene change. Their only complaint, yes as if they only had one, was that I didn't buy it for the past few years production. But it helped her mood because the director stopped yelling at her.

Just what I needed: Safety Signs & Signals

I placed a small piece of this at eye level in many corners (and light switches) of my apartment. It keeps me from banging into walls without turning on the lights at night. It retains enough shine to be useful for hours. It's quite thick and doesn't flex much more than when it was on the reel. It's as sticky as duct tape. I wouldn't use it where there is a lot of impact as it will snag and dislodge.

Endless Possibilities!

Media could not be loaded. I originally bought this to align the sides of the light switches so you don't have to fiddle with the wall to look for them. Over the years we've had some staining around the switches and we hoped to fix that with a fresh coat of paint. It's pretty easy to cut and shape. It's thicker than I expected (was expecting something similar to duct tape). With so many leftovers I went a bit crazy and also used it in a few other areas: - I used it on the edges of the stairs to
