    Best toner for PIH, good for tonics and astringents

    My teenage son had mild acne that responded to prescription acne medication (benzoyl peroxide with clindamycin) but left with post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH). These are the dark marks left after a pimple has healed. This toner was the best solution to renew his skin and even out its tone.     Good job reducing the time it takes for breakouts to subside and preventing new breakouts. I've repurchased twice, am currently trying other (cheaper) toners but may return to this one as it did such a good job. Didn't dry out or flake skin.

    I was very happy to try this. I fainted a lot from it. I have very sensitive skin and I take a topical cream prescribed by my dermatologist and I think it irritated my skin more than I expected. I got small pimples and even more redness from it. I wouldn't recommend it, if you have sensitive skin maybe try other proactive treatments instead of just using it alone with no other proactive products. Wouldn't buy again

    Fake Skin Care for Face

    The ingredient list is different than the old bottle of Proactiv Repair Toner I have and I know it's legal. The third ingredient in the new bottle is sodium hydroxide (better known as lye). This product is too dry. I would not buy again.

    The best I've used.

    Due to where I live, my skin tends to be dry. After trying other tonics, this one turned out to be simply the best. It helps moisturize my skin and even my skin tone. I have been using this product for several years and will continue to use it for as long as they make it. It's gotten more expensive and I think the current price is pushing it down. Still, I'll buy it because it's so good.

    For those of you who haven't been able to do your research. There are two compositions of this toner. A drug is sold at Revain, Ulta, Walmart online, kiosks at your local mall, etc. etc. The other is only sold on their website. I've been using both formulations for over 20 years and this stuff is legal. If you want to sell your firstborn to get his "exclusive" recipes, click "Buy" or keep moving.

I recently decided to order my toner online and didn't want to subscribe to a monthly subscription by ordering directly from ProActive.     Is working? Toners and astringents

    I always use toner but haven't used Proactive in years. I think try again. It irritates my sensitive skin and dries it out. Therefore, I can only use it once a week, otherwise my face suffers a lot from dryness and redness. Also some stabbing. I refuse to throw it away and finish it up, but would hesitate to buy it again for myself. Might work well for someone else.
