ProCase Keyboard for iPad Pro 12.9" My favorite iPad Pro keyboard/case died within a few days and it seemed unlikely I could fix it. Use, reliability, lightness and not too expensive. There were so many options to consider "that I bought the ProCase keyboard based on a combination of factors and reviews. The outer box from Revain was quite replaceable and the ribbon was partially open, but there were no problems with the keyboard. It took about 10 minutes from opening the box to the Working on…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Works great for 2-3 days then becomes useless

I initially liked this keyboard case as it is lighter than many of its competitors. I've braced myself for the delay introduced by the bluetooth connection. The keys are fairly easy to type, except that the space bar rarely worked. However, after 2-3 days of use, the keyboard began to turn off spontaneously. I've tried all the troubleshooting steps including a full 8 hour charge, disconnecting the Bluetooth, reconnecting, etc. to no avail. After trying to use it for another 2 days, I was never…

If the iPad is your writing utensil, buy another keyboard

Overall, the case itself is very solid. I also really like the place for the pencil, so that it is always next to my iPad. The only major downside to this case, which I've been using for a few weeks, is the keyboard. I used to have an Apple keyboard but didn't want to pay the retail price to have it replaced when it broke. Compared to the Apple keyboard, you have to press the keys at the right angle on this keyboard for them to register, which can make typing difficult. Another problem is that…

iPad won't stay upright when typing

This is great if you're on a budget and can use it, but there are other options. I do not understand it. It's almost impossible to use if you're a fast typist or even use an Apple Pencil. The only thing holding the iPad back is the small protrusion you place the iPad on and it doesn't have enough grip to prevent the iPad from slipping at the slightest movement. The keys are also thin. When you reinsert the iPad, the power button will be hidden. If you want to play videos and save battery, you…

Good solution for computers and accessories

After looking at how to use the iPad, I decided on this case. First of all it was important to have a place for a pen as it is very easy to lose it. The case makes the pen easy to access and feels durable. Second, I use my iPad for business trips. So I really wanted a built-in keyboard. Bluetooth pairing was very easy. I used it regularly for about 3 weeks before it needed a charge. Finally, I wanted a case that would allow it to be used from different angles. It's comfortable to hold when I'm…

Fits old iPad Pro 12.9

So that includes a case and a wireless keyboard and space for a first generation Apple Pencil (oh my god I love an Apple Pencil but that's about the case) . On the plus side, the case is solid and the 1st gen iPad is fairly well protected. The keyboard works fine. No trackpad, but that's ok. I still hate trackpads. Also, the keyboard can be turned off when you're not using it, which is a big plus. Cons - Requires a mini USB adapter to charge the keyboard. I really wish they would use a…
