No more ripping, tearing and missing bells

My 3 year old OTTB ripped 3 pairs of velcro rubber torches. I got them based on feedback from others and after a month they are still in place and not a single rip or tear. Easy to put on (as my blacksmith showed me).

Pros
  • 360 degree protection
Cons
  • Modern

Good discount on bells

My Standardbred has great legs so I ordered size XL. He is 16hh and 1250lbs. I use them because he has a big stride and the boots help hold the shoes on! For the price, this is a great deal. They last about 3 months for me. I just asked my blacksmith to string them for me.

Pros
  • Pull On
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Love it in Boots & Wraps

Love it. Conscientiously buy them for my gelding who has decubitus ulcers on his shackles. I just put them on backwards and flip them over when I want to train him. They last months and months, much longer than the velcro ones. I go 1 size larger than the size I would get if they were velcro since I leave them on 24/7.

Hard to meet! OK, but not for long.

They were incredibly difficult to put on. I even watched a video on how to do it. My wearer finally tried it and had trouble putting them on. My mare has very small hooves and we chose medium ones. After he put them on they lasted maybe a month before my mare ripped one off. I like the idea of not having to take them on and off, but I prefer velcro straps that I can only use when riding or training.

Pros
  • High quality rubber
Cons
  • Big and chunky
