The best shock absorbers money can buy

These shock absorbers are durable and of high quality. I installed them. The ride is excellent with no setbacks and my bike dropped about 1 inch.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Great investment and trip!

I've had standard replacement progressives for 10 years, 422-1003C. They drove well but didn't match the load. Heard about it and had to try it. Doesn't matter. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs new shocks, not just those of us with big engines and travel bags.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Quick guide

Highly recommend upgrading to a progressive shock absorber

These FXSTC (Improved Motorcycle Handling) shocks are more than I expected. If you're still using a stock shock, I highly recommend upgrading to a progressive shock. With the right tools and a repair guide, installation can be done at home. It takes a few times to get the right attitude (for two people), everyone likes different rides.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Not all will fit

They were good for a little over a year when one of the .

A fat man passed them on to his sons in 1998. They had been good for just over a year when one of them jammed and sheared off a bolt in the rear swingarm. It wasn't fun removing the rear swingarm to fix a broken bolt. It could have been a broken part but I wouldn't recommend them. If the company wants to send them back to check for defects, I'll be happy to mail them to you.

Pros
  • Decent qualities
Cons
  • Negative impression

Fits '03 and '04 Big Dog choppers

422-4001c Larger diameter adjustable shock absorber for heavy duty use. I installed it on my Big Dog '04 helicopter. Fits perfectly. Drives confidently, but without sharp bumps on bumpy roads. On the shortest setting, my bike dropped about 1/2 inch. I love her! 4035c is a standard device and also fits. This is a smaller diameter impact cylinder. I found that both the 4001c and 4035c will also fit the 2003 BDM chopper. I wish I had them sooner. My bike looks great!

Pros
  • This is awesome
Cons
  • Zero

great picture and product!

Ideal for 2004 Kraft/Tech frames. arrived tuned for my ride weight/height so no adjustment needed. A free adjustment key was included in the scope of delivery. Very easy install using my clip on jack under the rear wheel to keep the swingarm at shock removal and installation height. I threw away the old mounting washers and added new SS washers from the local hardware store so everything was new when installed. After a few hundred miles I turned the damping down a bit as the tight corneringโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Secret
