Reliable and Versatile Reader

The ProMaster USB 2.0 Universal Reader is a budget-friendly option that exceeded our expectations .Based on our own experience, we found it to be both reliable and versatile compatible with multiple types of memory cards and able to transfer large files quickly. The compact design makes it easy to take on-the-go. The only downside is that the USB cord could be longer. Overall, we highly recommend this reader for anyone in need of a reliable and affordable memory card accessory..

Pros
  • Fast data transfer speed with USB 2.0 connectivity
Cons
  • Compatibility limited to memory cards only

Not Compatible with All Computers

Based on my experience, this memory card reader was a complete disappointment... It worked fine on my old PC but when I upgraded to a newer model, it wouldn't even recognize the device. The only pro is that it's small and portable, but that doesn't make up for its lack of compatibility. Save yourself the headache and invest in a reader that's more universally compatible..

Pros
  • Compatibility with most memory card types, and fast transfer speeds up to 480Mbps
Cons
  • Skimpy instruction

Not quite right

I don't like that the drive "crashes" when I try to review the images that I use with the utility memtest86 "burn" on it. entries. I know this is not typical usage; therefore I give two stars.

Pros
  • Uses USB 2.0 for fast boot up to 480 Mbps
Cons
  • There is a negative result
