We used this clear tape on the dance floor in our dance studio. We used it to cover a thinner colored ground strap because we thought the thin material would require extra protection. We use the colored version of this tape all the time with no problems. When this transparent tape wore off, sticky marks were left on the floor. Dancefloor tape should NOT do that! It was a disaster. Removing the sticky residue was a lot of work. Lesson Learned, DO NOT USE TAPE ON THE DANCEFLOOR!

I have a 10 year old Sharper Image black massage chair that still works great but the vinyl upholstery has dried out badly and has peeled off over time. I used this tape to cover almost all areas of the seat, backrest and cushion. When the chair is on, the areas to be treated are put under more stress between the massage action and the heat. This ribbon is great. I strongly recommend using 3 inches instead of 2 inches. We got the 2 inch tape with our gauze floor and used it but didn't like the look. The 2-inch branded tape didn't look convincing. We needed more than we bought to finish the floor. We bought 3 inch tape and we love how it looks. Much cleaner, smoother and blends much better!
