Great for getting rid of the included straps

This bag is amazing and I am happy with the design. An adjustable spacer keeps the horns in place (I have Bb, C, Piccolo) and also has room for the included mouthpiece pouch, another mouthpiece pouch, my extra piccolo pencil pouch and my practice mute. The music bag is great too. The only downside is the "backpack" straps they send, which are actually two shoulder straps. I bought some good, durable backpack straps here on Amazon that made the bag feel very light on my shoulders. Once you…

Pros
  • Stylish side handle with studded leather handle Reinforced studded and taped wrap and large external storage pocket with 2 large zipped compartments for storing music and other accessories
Cons
  • Piggy bank - broken price

Expensive! Is it durable?

I've tried other double wheeled cases but returned them when my large Bach Flugelhorn didn't fit. In this case I was able to mount my shovel and port pipe. I'm not sure how secure the horns are inside as the flag has to be almost on its side to fit. Looks like the internal configuration is actually for Bb, C and Picc. The wheels are small and look fragile. The handle lengthens, but also seems fragile. My Costco trolley has better wheels and a handle and costs a lot less. I'm going to try this…

Pros
  • Dental floss
Cons
  • So far so good

Not as easy as it seems.

I found it "difficult" to place the trumpet and flugelhorn in the case so that the flugelhorn wouldn't slip under the bulkhead and damage my trumpet. I ended up placing the 2nd divider at right angles to its intended position - under the flugelhorn and then over it to prevent that submarine effect. However, I can't find a solution to the problem of partial or full valve compression on the flugelhorn, which I find undesirable. Good product. An improvement would be to just add some velcro to the…

Imperfect concept, cheap execution

Your pipes deserve better. The idea of a rolling suitcase with a telescoping top handle and side carry handle is great. However, if you take a thin box and put unstable and fragile partitions inside, you get a completely unacceptable multi-tube case that can safely store $7,000-$10,000 worth of tools. Protec must be embarrassed. This product shows the most unashamed commitment to the "as cheap as we can make it" school I've ever seen. The outer "shell" looks like a hard case, but is so flexible

Pros
  • Beauty and personal care
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
