This rash guard is made of a heavier fabric than most but my son has never complained about it. It definitely offers good sun protection. My son has worn it many times this summer and it has remained in excellent condition. I wash them on delicates and hang them to dry. Overall a great purchase.

Got one of these for a trip to Aruba. I spent a day snorkeling and a day snorkeling. It was nice to have it as a layer. There was no warming and warming, and I did not expect it. You only need one layer to protect from sun and scratches from coral or anything else while diving.

Burgundy Bought and hand washed with no soap in the bucket. The water turned dark red like I was cleaning up a crime scene. Even after emptying the bowl 5 times, the water still took on color. The bowl turned out to be stained pink and even the tub I dropped the bowl in started to stain and needed bleach cleaning.

I like this shirt and will keep it but the fabric is quite dense compared to others I've tried so I doubt it's enough can breathe to cool you down on a hot day. It looks more like a regular shirt than a rashguard. Definitely scale down if you're going to be swimming in it. Just note that this shirt does not have thumb holes. So if you go down in size, the sleeves can be annoyingly short.

I bought it for a week at the beach. Super comfortable and great in the water and on land. Beautiful and free. Breathe well, it doesn't get hard in the water; hardly realized it was my turn. The only downside is that it is hand wash only. I've still washed it on the gentle cycle in the washing machine and line dried it, and it was just as good to wear. I'm considering buying another one because I like it so much.
