Comfortable but gets dirty easily

Bought these to protect my thumb which is growing a nail. The gel material is definitely more comfortable and protective than disposable fingertips. However, it seems to attract all kinds of stains that soap and water won't remove. You can't control the thread very well. So you need to stretch the items you carry on your thumb and forefinger. At this…

First, it's a great way to protect your fingers. I have a lot of cracks on my fingers around the cuticles so I can put ointment on my finger and wear it. They are VERY stretchy so it's easy to open them very wide and place your fingertip of ointment on the end of the bed to keep the ointment from spilling all the way down. At night they seem to get caught on the sheets as I move in bed and often fall off my finger at night. They clean up easily with soap and water and appear to be durable. One…
