Only one upgrade required.

I love this Prunus J-157 compact radio. Fits easily in the palm of your hand and the internal speaker sounds better than I expected. Good reception of my local FM stations. I also get my local AM stations but we need a 10kHz step version of this radio on MW (AM band). I would be very happy about it. I hope you're listening, Prunus!

Amazing little radio with great reception.

I love the size of this little guy but wish he had a belt hook. The AM reception is above all better than with my previous pocket radios. Learning how to use it takes some time due to the many options. Something requires a long hold and something short with the same buttons. But after a visit or two, the size and quality of reception more than makes up for it, not to mention the reasonable price. I recommend this radio.

Small radio with a big sound

This radio has a big sound for being so small. This could easily be heard throughout the very large master bedroom. The display is very easy to read and is backlit during the day and at night. The clock and alarm clock are an added bonus of the radio. The sleep mode was the best feature because I sleep with the radio on at night. This radio is so compact that you can easily take it with you wherever you go. Nothing bad to say about this radio. The company is 100% responsible for its product.

Great radio but one flaw

Nice little radio. Pros: Very handy size, fits anywhere, great FM reception. Audio has an amazing size, many functions - lock, sleep, memory. Minuses: Average AM reception, AM scan error. I would give 5 stars but the scanning mechanism [AM only] does not stop at the actual frequency of the station which is 2-3kHz off most stations even though the station is tuned to receive correctly. wise. For example, our local station WCCO stops at 830 kHz when scanning at 828 kHz. Bad radio connection? No…

Prunus J-157 AM Portable FM stereo radio has come to us from a far-off land. This radio is an insider tip in the mass of cheap radios from China. Worth its price. Features I like about this radio: FM reception is well above average. Compactness. Watch. Alarm. LEDs and SOS. Sleep and timer functions. daytime and evening hours. Features that could be added or improved: Nice headphones :) Presets that can be set manually. Overall, the J-157 offers good value for money. I'm glad they made a 10kHz…
