I got this as a quick and easy answer to having something in my bag that dries quickly and looks good for all purposes. Turns out I really like them and the elastic waist is what I like more because I can get them on and off so quickly. They still look pretty enough to wear or take on a hike, but then again I can jump in the pool if needed.

These shorts have enough elastic so you don't need a belt even with your keys, wallet and cell phone. They look great and I love their stretch. The seams are very well finished and the double stitching in the crotch area looks solid. I'm 6ft 200lbs and the large fits me perfectly. I use them when doing tai chi and they definitely stretch with me. I will definitely buy them again, I am very satisfied.

I love cargo shorts but have a hard time finding light and stylish ones. These shorts are very versatile: you can wear them as casual shorts, to the beach, with a polo shirt (for a dressier look) or even to workout. They can be worn with a belt, but the back is partially elasticated - so they can be worn if you go 1-2 sizes up/down. If in doubt, I would order one size smaller. I ordered a large but I might order a medium next time (I plan to buy a few other colors).
