Puig 6375W Clear Multi-Adjustable Clip-On Visor - 315mm x 100mm Review

It works great on my BMW R1250GS Adventure and is changing the world. Even with the large 6ft 4in GSA windshield, my helmet is still taller where it counts. In fact, it's where the air is most turbulent and hitting the windshield that there's less noise when I'm standing. But everything is just perfect with the Puig and it's the best money I've spent on bike mods.

This is NOT a visor clip. It's just a deflector replacement. Does not include mounting material. What a disappointment to have this item shipped from the UK to the US only to find that only the plastic deflector was included and not the clip on the hardware. In addition, the item must be returned to Revain Germany at a cost that exceeds Revain's return shipping rate. Sigh.

Installs on a motorcycle windshield. One of the hinges lost internal detail when I changed the angle of the deflector to see which angle best reduced wind turbulence on the top of my helmet at 70 mph on the freeway. I like the device, just that you have to be careful not to damage the hinges. One side of the hinge just fell off when the angle of the deflector was changed, losing the internal parts that allow both ends of the hinge to "ratchet".

I'm 6ft 4" and ride a Kawasaki Versus 1000. I've replaced the horrible standard windshield with a large Puig touring glass in hopes of minimizing turbulence . While this helped a lot, I still cut off the top of the helmet. It is easy to attach and tighten with two screws. Then simply slide the visor into the desired position. .

Works well on my 2018 Tracer 900, it blocks more wind than the stock windshield - not 100% but a lot more than without it. Installation was pretty easy, although the instructions were pretty minimal. The only criticism was that the Allen key needed for the screws was not included. I'd also like to add, as another reviewer did, that you can't and shouldn't adjust it on various settings while driving - it has to be done when stopping. I rarely write reviews but had to write about this as it solved the main complaint about my Yamaha Tmax 500 hitting my helmet unbearably at or above 45mph (at 70mph Tmax was impossible to do without earplugs drive ).
