I bought this for my son without looking at the size descriptions. So it's not the seller's fault my fifth grader can't use it in September. I don't like that it only has 1 pocket where everything fits. There is no pocket for pens, napkins or other things if needed. If you were to keep the lunch bag attached to the front of the bag while holding the bag to the back, the bag would actually weigh more and if you lower the bag with the lunch bag attached, the bag will not stand up properly , it falls off. . My son is 8 years old, 1.60m tall and in third grade. This backpack is a bit big for him but he likes it. I only wish he had internal pockets to separate items. There are two mesh pockets on the sides of the backpack that allow us to carry a water bottle and other small items that he may need.
