This is a versatile shoe. They fit my son as expected and he wears them everywhere. Ideal for running, climbing trees, fences, jumping over or in puddles, biking, lugging from store to store, etc.

My 10 year old son loves this shoe however the front part of the sole only came off after the first day of use. I'm not sure if we'll get them back, but that shouldn't happen with any shoe; this indicates poor bonding of the black sole to the body of the shoe and poor quality of the black sole itself, which broke even after detachment - after 1 (one) day of regular use.

After trying on a million sneakers for my active 7 year old, we finally found this one. He is very happy with that. He says it's very comfortable and soft, and the laces stay open when he double-knots them. They are also easy to turn on and off. You look great too. Other shoes he had, he complained about at least one thing, if not more, that bothered him. This is the first shoe that is 100% comfortable, functional and of high quality. Definitely worth the price.
