Turn it over, remove the large screw holding it together, remove the bottom and remove the four Phillips screws from the translucent ring. Carefully remove the four blue LEDs from the clips. Put the ring on and reassemble it. I just deleted your last reason not to buy this.

I haven't quite figured out how to get the smell of cooking out of the house other than with a candle or two. I bought this Mooka air purifier that comes with a filter and it really helped keep the garlic smell out of the kitchen! This product is worth it! I have one in the kitchen and one in the dining room so if any smell comes out of the kitchen the second air purifier will absorb it. Really worth buying! Reviews from other users made me buy this product and I agree, it's a 10!

***Update***. The air purifier still works great and I can tell the difference but I spent an hour and a half on the phone with this company and provided all my personal information and was told if the feedback was positive I would get a free filter replacement which was never the case happened. came. A really good air purifier for small rooms. It made a noticeable difference in just a few hours and I literally can't sleep without it. I have mild asthma, allergies to house dust and pet dander and am very sensitive to air pollutants such as outdoor smog/ash. I live downtown, downwind of La Port, and I have a coating of greasy black soot on my windows, so it's always in the air here, and sometimes I wake up feeling like I can't breathe and I'm coughing black things when i do don't. even smoke.

I like this air filter very much. It came in nice retail packaging that was shrink wrapped. It has two speeds. A lot of air circulates at high revs and the noise level remains acceptable.
