This is a well made cable. It's quite thick and the case connectors are designed so I can use it with my phone in a pocket. I bought professional headphones with a 3.5 plug, but I can't connect them to my phone until I remove the cover. I connect this cable to my Vox mini 3 guitar amp to play along with the music. The amp also has a headphone jack.

However, if you want a cable that can last more than a couple of weeks before you start getting that horrible static noise of a cheap wired connection, get one.
