After measuring his wrist they had to fit him, but he had to either loosen them enough so the watch wouldn't stay in place or tighten them enough that the back end dangled ridiculously. ' although I don't know what to compare it to.

DO NOT buy these unless you want constant fear of losing your watch. Comfortable, but the pins connecting them to the dial aren't long enough. In the beginning they were great. I love the colors but I almost lost the watch because the straps on 3 of the 5 colors came loose and the watch fell on the floor. The watch quickly becomes part of your wrist, so you can easily lose it while cycling etc. I went back to the original strap that came with my watch and never had this problem.

This is a good replacement for straps. I use them on Vivoactive 3. Others have mentioned that the straps fall out. I didn't have this problem after a few weeks, even after pulling them a bit. I received a black, navy blue, red backpack. The red is a little lighter than I would like; it is not dark red. The difference between small and large is bigger than I expected based on the list. This strap does not fully engage watch mounts to ensure the watch stays on the watch during normal activity. Mine let go of the watch without warning after three months of use on a bike path.
