Works as far as I understand.

They will fit most spade joints. I wouldn't trust the max amperage rating for that long as there is less metal on the crimp than expected. Overall very happy with the price and usage. (I pushed 30 amps with a 16 AWG shovel for 10 minutes and they get hot, but don't get hot when firmly connected. Take it as you will.)

Great damn invention!

So simple it's almost too simple. The suspicion made me frown after using them. I couldn't believe I connected with just the stock speaker wire. Half expected that they would not work. But they did. They do . Where have you been all my life? If only I could reclaim the hours or weeks wasted splicing wires in the past. Sigh. They work so well I'm depressed. Find out.

  • Easy-to-read control panel

only 1 flaw: clamps

When inserting a shovel into a faucet, make sure the shovel is in the middle of the protective cover. Otherwise it will not come into contact with the metal in the connector. I spent almost an hour trying to figure out why I had a faucet problem but couldn't get rid of it. Then I saw the shovel sticking out through the scabbard. Compared to the scotch lock wire tap, it takes up less space. At the same time, the wire sticking out at a 90-degree angle makes using several of them close together a…

Great product, you will not regret it

Man I love these things Do not need fast shipping, cheap for the quantity you receive and easy to use. I actually saw a video online of this guy having a problem where he cut the wires and twisted them together and it lit a light on his dash. but he overlooked this problem by simply connecting to the wires and this problem was no more

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities

Multiple sizes make your job easier

The only complaint I have is that the metal part of the clamp on the welder comes off easily. You can reset them, no problem. But it's annoying if it falls off while you're twisting it to position it to connect to the cable. Choosing the right size for both the welder and the T-connector is not only crucial for a secure connection, but also makes your job easier. . A T-connector, for example, can be crimped without a crimping tool. My wire cutter handle worked perfectly.

  • Pretty packaging

Doesn't fit small wire

Didn't work well with a 20ga auto tail light wire for my Honda Civic. Attempts to connect to the backup camera/backup camera wires. The blocks punctured the wire for the tap and the side connector would not hold the wire even after the most severe compression. I attached the taps by manually cutting the wire and attached the blades by soldering the wire in. I messed up six or seven pairs trying to get everything to work. It would be much faster to solder everything by hand.

Cons
  • Something different

Better than splicing/soldering wires in tight spaces

Added extra 12v power to my truck and didn't want to try to get a soldering iron in the space so crimp connectors were my best bet. Although I had a T-Tap connector in my collection, it seemed better to buy a large set that would only cost a few dollars more than the pair I would need. The connectors seem to be reliable and I see that they are used in some other projects like automotive e.g. B. to power a dash cam. I can see myself using them in some of the smaller electronics/robotics projects

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Out of fashion
