Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, this product didn't meet my expectations. Although the pad is waterproof, it's flimsy and not sturdy enough to hold the baby. The size is also too small, making it challenging to use for newborns..

I really like the quality of this mat, it's a little smaller than the one I used to change it with but I just flip it horizontally and for diaper changes it's perfect. Only use it upright after a bath and it's fine for my soon to be 10 month old. She is about 26 pounds 29 inches long and has not yet taken her 10 month measurements.
