This cable powers my Acer switch but doesn't fully fit into the power port. It tends to fall out and get caught by another object when the device is charging, and due to this tendency, it cannot be conveniently plugged in while the device is in use. I've spent a lot of time making sure I'm ordering the right cable for my device and I'm disappointed with its features.

Received an Asus A200 Iconia Tab from my father as he has not used it after I gave him a new tablet. Unfortunately he didn't send the correct power supply. Bought and within 4 hours the battery was fully charged and so far have had no problems using it as a spare power bank. The odd connection point makes it impossible to use other types of adapters. This one looks like it was originally made for the device.

I recently ordered and received this charger as a replacement as the native charger that came with the tablet broke. This charger has been a good replacement so far.

It is not firmly plugged into the charging port, so you have to hold it to charge the tablet. Luckily I had to hold it because after about 10 seconds I realized my fingers were getting warm. I removed it immediately and found that the pin was very hot. I don't know yet if it damaged my tablet as I now need to pick it up and have someone look at it. I think keeping it in place was a good thing. I don't even want to know what could have happened if I had plugged it in and left.

I haven't used my tablet for almost a year because my nephew damaged the charger and I couldn't find a working one. I ordered this one not expecting it to work but willing to lose if it didn't. Glad I did that, it worked! Many Thanks
