This is a niche device, not for everyone.

I bought it when it was first released in December when it wasn't $350 so I returned it. Over time I noticed some incremental improvements on the software side. Features like voice-to-text have recently been added. Like I said, it wasn't $350 back then, but it's worth the price now. I bought it in white and am looking forward to updated software and new features.

I think it's a real added value Item

I travel a lot and this smartwatch will come in handy. Impressive battery life. It serves a purpose and I'm totally fine with that for now - unless I critique the product soon? It syncs very well with my Kitkat 4.2 on the HTC1X. I think TOQ will include many more features to make it more user friendly and useful for everyday use? I hope that I will not be disappointed with this purchase.

Pros
  • Useful beyond its intended purpose
Cons
  • Some bugs

The app crashes every time making the watch useless.

Love the display (great indoors and out) and the battery life. But the app is the worst. Literally every time I start it, it crashes immediately. And without the application it is impossible to set the time on the watch. So useless. If you are really considering buying this Android phone, the first thing you should do is go to the Google Play Store, download the Qualcomm Toq app and make sure it doesn't crash right away. . My phone is a Nexus 5 with Android "KitKat"; a friend who also has 5 had

Never worked more than 2 days in a row.

Went back and forth with support. The screen hung between the watch faces and stayed there for hours. Rendered the device unusable at that moment. After sending the log files and not getting a solution to the problem, I sent the device back. I had high hopes for him. I saw and played it at CES this year. There are pros and cons to watches. Pros: Color touchscreen visible in direct sunlight - looked even better when exposed to more sunlight. physically cut the watch strap! and just don't get a…

The best of the high end

This watch is far superior to the Galaxy Gear and much better than the Sony SW2. I have no problem cutting the strap. In the time it takes me to get so fat that I need a bigger band, new technology will still come out and it's definitely time for a new device. Setup was intuitive and easy. I like the charger but it would be nice to have a charging option to work without having to pack a suitcase. My only issue is that if the watch is more than 20 feet from your phone, you get a message saying…

Do you use Exchange email on your phone? Must be an accessory.

Feels a bit silly to overpay for this thing 2 weeks ago for Revain Daily Dea now that the price has come down by £100 but it was a good one Purchase. If, like me, company policy requires you to enter an incredibly long password to access your company email on your phone, smartwatches are a valuable addition. One glance and you can see incoming texts, updates and emails from all sources. Easy to use, the only downside was a second rate arts and crafts project to get the bracelet the right size…

Great idea but clumsy

Let's start with the good: the screen is easy to read in broad daylight and the backlight works well at night and calls from my wrist are more useful than I thought. The battery life is really good. The wireless charger is good but a little big if you don't have an (unreleased) wireless headset accessory. fits. Pray you don't gain weight and don't want to give them to someone else because the strap can't be replaced. The watch is really chunky and I'm still not used to how it feels after a few…

Always hope with a new gadget!

I think I expected a little more from the watch than I got. First there were reviews from Revain saying it was waterproof and IT IS NOT! I called them they said wash your hands but no shower no diving. Colors are also muted when the lights are on, but that's not a problem. The watch is visible even in low light and is highly visible in direct sunlight as it has the ability to adjust for better readability. I like apps, 5 in total I think stocks are good, weather is fine although it would be…

Well and.: Wearable Technology

.well, the design part is just stupid. I used to have a Samsung Gear Smartwatch V1 and switched to them in preparation for my next-gen device. It's pretty close to next-gen, but not quite. What annoys me the most is the watch strap and how Qualcomm integrated it into the device - the good folks at Qualcomm did their best, but it's stupid. If you don't know, adjust the band and then physically cut it to the correct length before the device can be worn. If your wrist gets smaller or the wrist of…
