When I first received this fan, I didn't know that Sony had changed the fan connector on some models. It wasn't the right fan for me so I had to cut the connector off and solder the old fan to the new one. It still worked fine.

I have a PS4 1200 series, it fits the board snugly. The mounting holes aren't perfect but it fits, just had to push a little against the guide pins. It's louder than the original like it has more air in it, hopefully that's a good thing. I smeared new thermal paste onto the processor and cleaned off all the dust while taking it apart. It works harder than I can ever remember.
