Cute for a weekend or trip but poor quality and lasted less than a month before large holes appeared in the straw. We are on the beach and on the boat with the whole family every week, wear lots of straw hats and want our little man to be protected too. Was disappointed with the low quality of Quiucksilver but still cute for the event. Hemlock makes durable kids sized straw hats with many designs to choose from, but they are slightly more expensive. Mom and Dad also wear hemlock hats.

The perfect beach hat for our four year old son. We put on a sun shirt and this hat and we don't have to put sunscreen on him because it protects him from the sun so well. Also, he can wear sunglasses under his hat.

Nice hat, cheaply made. You get what you pay for. $20, probably earned by someone who was underpaid in poor working conditions. The rim was sewn haphazardly here and there in large bunches of stitches, allowing the rim's straw to unravel. Lasts no more than a week on my 8 year old. Luckily only bought for a week long cruise.
