I have a Janome DS1050. Chip fits except .

I have Janome dc1050. Everything fit except for the 1/4" foot. I don't know, maybe they just put the wrong one in the box, but the photos show that there is a piece of metal on the back of the foot where the screwed guide is, does not let the foot sit smoothly on the foot combs, so it does not work.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Crumpled

Quality Kit

Bought this for my wife after she bought several aftermarket presser feet with which she had mixed results on her Janome machine. The aftermarket walking foot in particular was junk, leading us to bite the bullet and order this quality set from Janome. She is very happy with everything that is included in the kit, especially the walking and darning legs.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than others

Good with reservations

I was looking for an open toe walking leg and this set definitely had both. I was a bit concerned as the walking foot felt quite squeaky (I have another closed toe foot so I'm comparing it to this one) and after a few small quilts it started to move. I almost sent it back, but did a bit of internet browsing and lubricated the mechanism with sewing machine oil. It seems to be working better now, but I'll keep an eye on it. It was a little disappointing that it held up, especially since I'd spent

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
