Disappointing Radiation Glasses for Safety

Based on my observations, these glasses offer subpar protection in THE Industrial and Scientific field .While they may shield against some radiation, they leave much to be desired in terms of design and durability. On the bright side, they fit comfortably over prescription glasses. Unfortunately that small benefit is not enough to justify their lackluster performance..

Pros
  • Provides permanent protection against ionizing radiation during medical procedures.
Cons
  • May decrease visibility and hinder the accuracy of medical professionals during procedures.

Necessary protective goggles for the OR

I am new to the X-ray laboratory and it has been pointed out how uncomfortable lead glasses are. I bought them mainly because of the price and the side screen. They are very severe, as expected, but most of the discomfort comes from the bridge of the nose. I ended up buying nose bridge pads which really help but these goggles just aren't comfortable. If it saves me from cataracts, it's worth it.

Pros
  • Eye protection
Cons
  • thin
